Academic Programs

Meet Ed Slug

Our academic programs foster the development of educators through the many stages of their careers. We prepare students to become educational leaders.

For more information about our programs follow the links below. Contact an advisor by email or phone or visit during drop-in advising hours for further assistance.

  • GRADUATE PROGRAMS

    • Masters in Education and Teaching Credential
The M.A. in Education California Credential program prepares teachers for California's culturally and linguistically diverse children and youth.

    • Ph.D. in Education
The Ph.D. in Education supports students in becoming leading scholars who engage in research focused on the educational needs of students from linguistic and cultural groups that have historically not fared well in our nation's public schools.

    • Ed.D.
Our Ed.D. program is designed to prepare educational leaders for the field; the dissertations will apply cutting edge research in action-research based reform efforts. Students will focus on the application of educational theory and research in their projects.
