Minor Program Minor in Education The Minor in Education is an undergraduate course of study that explores the history of educational thought and philosophy, the politics and economics of education, theories of cognition, learning and pedagogy, and issues of cultural and linguistic diversity in Education. The Education Minor is designed to provide opportunities to examine basic questions, theories, practices, and research in the field of education. The Minor is useful to both liberal arts study and as a foundation for students planning to become teachers. Please note that a Minor in education does not provide a California Teaching Credential.
