The Education Department has a growing doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) program that attracts students who have exemplary preparation as well as experience working in educational settings; a model teacher-education program that enables students to work towards a masters degree and a California teacher credential; and two vibrant minor tracks that serve more than 300 undergraduates annually.
Every year the Education Department holds several infomation sessions for prospective students interested in intellectual and professional fields in Education. Information sessions are conducted by experienced academic advisors, who will explain important admission requirements and deadlines.
