PhD Info Sessions

If you'd like to attend an info session, RSVP by filling out this short form: https://forms.gle/me6f5P8qoDhaMYKA7.  All times are Pacific Standard time (PST).

Three Zoom sessions are planned for those considering applying:

• Mon Oct 2, 2023 from 7pm-8pm PST
• Tues Oct 17, 2023 from 1pm-2pm PST
• Tues Oct 24, 2023 from 9am-10am PST  (signups for this session close at noon on Oct 23)
Those who RSVP will be contacted a few days before the session with a Zoom link, and a link will be sent to others who RSVP before registration for the session closes. Before you attend a session, you may find it helpful to read the information for prospective students. 
If you registered for a previous session, you are welcome to register again. But you do need to fill out the form again, so we know to contact you.

Get Your Ph.D. in Education at UC Santa Cruz

We hold online info sessions to help you learn more about our PhD program. In these sessions, you get to: 

• Connect with our award-winning faculty
• Hear from current PhD students about their experience at UC Santa Cruz
• Learn about the application process
• Get information on funding opportunities
• Explore potential research areas

Applicants are strongly encouraged to look at the work of our faculty and to reach out to specific professors whose research feels like a fit with your interests. The best way to find the right mentor is to start those conversations early.
