MA/C Program Admissions Requirements

The online application will go live on October 1, 2021

Application Deadline: January 31, 2022

Admission Requirements:

  1. GPA 3.0 or above
  2. Transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate work
  3. Cultural/Linguistic Diversity
  4. Documented field experience in a formal or informal educational setting with youth at the same age level which the candidate aspires to teach
  5. Letters of Recommendation: 3 to 5  
  6. California Basic Skills Requirement 
  7. Subject Matter Competency Requirement
  8. Certificate of Clearance
  9. Statement of Purpose
  10. Personal History
  11. Academic Writing Sample
  12. Résumé

Applicants seeking Bilingual Authorization also submit:

Essay in Spanish (preferably submit with application)
