UCSC’s state-accredited teacher education program is being offered in Silicon Valley.  Students who successfully complete the Silicon Valley program earn both a University of California Masters degree in Education and a California Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential in Secondary Science.  Program start date is Summer 2014, with applications opening in Fall 2013.

The majority of the program’s 68-units is offered at UCSC Extension’s modern facility in Santa Clara.  Student teaching placements will be in middle and high schools in the greater San José area.
